Broken Arrow Forklift Parts - Broken Arrow (population 98,850) is a city within the state of Oklahoma, USA. It is the largest suburb of Tulsa and is situated within Tulsa County, that is a small part of Broken Arrow is within Wagoner County. It is the 4th largest city within Oklahoma State. The Tulsa Metropolitan Area, of which the city of Broken Arrow is a part, has a population of 937,478.

Town lots were sold back in 1902 by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. William S. Fears, the then secretary of the company, who chose the name Broken Arrow after an old Creek Indian community within Alabama. This community had many members who were forced to relocate to that area of Oklahoma along the Trail of Tears. The Indian name of the town was Rekackv, which meant broken arrow. The Creek settlement was situated just south of present-day downtown Broken Arrow.

The city of Broken Arrow is located in the northeastern portion of Oklahoma State between the Great Plains and the Ozark Mountains was first an agricultural community. This region is part of the most ecologically diverse region of the state in the Green Country region. Seven of Oklahoma's 11 eco-regions are situated here. The scenery features green vegetation, hills and lakes.

Now, the economy of the city is diverse. Many manufacturers have located here and Broken Arrow has various types of industries and businesses. Broken Arrow has the third highest concentration of manufacturers within Oklahoma State.

The main private company is FlightSafety International (FSI), that builds and designs Flight Simulators at its Simulation Systems Division. Roughly half of its 675 workers are engineers. Commercial developments are underway at various locations within the city of Broken Arrow, like for instance along Highway 51. A Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is the anchor to a major development that comprises restaurants, hotels, offices and shopping. In the year 2010, construction was finished on a new full-service hospital and medical office building. In the year 2011, Dick's Sporting Goods opened within the city of Broken Arrow.
